Yesterday was fun day!
Shanon and I went shopping and I got some cute new clothes! (Yay clothes!!) Saw her boyfriend and his family at the mall, said hello. Then we met up with Shanon's mommy at the other mall and I got some new jeans! (Yay new jeans!)
Later on Shanon's mommy took us out to Frisches for dinner, where much more fun and sugar was had. Shanon got a call from Laura "to go to a place in Cincinnati that has a "T" & "M" in it." When I spoke with Laura, being from NKY and all, it was not a "T" & "M" place it was Dave & Busters. (As Laura and Erica call it, "Chuck E Cheese for adults). So, at 9:00-ish Shanon and I began our drive to NKY to meet them. On the way there we called about 1/2 of our phone books because we were super hyper and giggly. The only person that did want to come along and join in the fun was Erica! (Yay for wanting to have fun with us and not be party poopers like everyone else!)
I did however, by the end of the night get Shanon "naked" through all the piddidles I called!
Since we beat Laura and her crew up to NKY, as they were also coming from Louisville, we stopped at my mommy's house and said hello and chatted for a little while. We waited until Erica got there and left shortly after that as we had another 30 minute drive to Dave and Busters. To make sure we got there okay, my mom gave us her GPS thingie that we could program the address and it tell us where to go. The thing is really annoying, especially since it took Shanon about 10 minutes to get the volume down to a reasonable pitch. Chatting about people and places and boys and everything else ensued.
We get to Dave and Busters and meet up with Laura and her peoples. Said hello, chatted for a few minutes, then played Skee-ball and this nifty trivia game. We won a lot of tickets through that. We decided to only get a small prize each, to remember the night, then come back up to earn more and buy a really obnoxiously big prize. The small prizes we got were shot glasses!!
D&B closes at 2:00, so as we are walking out, we tried to get Laura's fiance to take our picture, but he wouldn't so we asked a nearby group of random guys to take the picture and they did. (They were nice. The only thing they wanted was then a picture with us on their camera...we obliged.) On the drive back much more talking about random things ensued.
We got back to my house and decided to stand out side for about 30 minutes before we got smart to go inside, where it was actually warm. We talked for a very long time. Erica didn't leave until 4:45. (Shanon and I had to be up at 8:30 so that she could get back in time for church).
Being spontaneous is FUN!!!

I was sent out for food today. Subway: 5 sandwiches plus one for myself.
Thankfully the nice people at Subway were so helpful and kind. Yay!

Gosh it has been over a month since I've actually written in this thing. I think it is time I update.
I'll section it off.
Work: Work has been sucky/okay. I work with this "new" girl. (I use quotes because she has worked at the other smoothie king before- but she is new to the one I work at). She is so, what's the word, bitchy, to everyone. To people who are much older than her, to people who are smarter than her. She has this "holier than thow" attitude toward everyone. She treats me like I am 5 (in fact I am older than her) and I do not know how to do anything at all. She makes me and everyone else so mad.
But besides that, like I said, work is otay.
School: Started my senior year. Taking a bunch of classes. Don't like a few of them. But, these are classes I have to take if I want to graduate. Oh yeah, I may not graduate in time. Over the summer I was supposed to take PSYCH 320, but it was canceled. Since they offered it last year in the spring I thought they would offer it again this coming spring semester. They aren't. No one told me, so I didn't take it this semester. And, the next time they are offering it is the fall of 07, so I may not graduate until December of 07, instead of May.
Research methods is otay, so far.
Life: ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) crimmson and I got a yellow apartment/house on Newburg literally 3 seconds away from school. I love it. It is great to have something home-y to come back to, rather than my old apartment full of tension.
Celebrated my 21st Birthday on September 19. I am now legal. Shanon and Bruce had people gather at Applebees to celebrate it with me. I had lots of fun. And, I was very surprised.
Then, later that week, my dad, stepmom and her parents came down to take me out to dinner. We went to Friday's at Fourth Street Live.
Again, mucho fun.
The first day that I was officially, officially 21, Wednesday the 20th. I became old. I was attempting to go to bed, but my back kept hurting me. (It had hurt in the afternoon too, but I thought it was just stress of work). So, thinking I was dying or at least having gall stones or kidney stones, at 11:45pm I was admitted into Baptist East. I was there until 2:45am. The doctor that treated me told me that I was having "Renal Colic" (aka Kidney pain). I am not supposed to lift anything at all. (has that doctor seen the backpack of a hard working college student?) My back still hurts, but I only take the prescriptions he gave me at night because they both make me sleepy: Vicodin and flexeril (muscle relaxer). I have been sleeping really well since I started taking them. I <3 my boy because he took me, stayed with me and took me home from the hospital. It was very nice for him to do that.
I've been getting homesick a lot, because when I go home it is only for a few hours and I don't get to see people for very long. But hopefully, over Fall Break I will get to spend a day and a half up in good ole NKY!

I really, really, really, really, really ( I could go on...) need a job. I am almost on broke and I can't find anyone that is hiring now. Everyone seems to need to take a few weeks. (Being sick the past week hasn't helped me too much.) But I can't afford to wait 2-3 weeks. So, if you are in the Louisville area and know of ANYONE who even might be hiring please tell them about me AND CALL ME!!!! I need a job!!!

So, it's 7:00 and I've been up for about 45 minutes. I just woke up. Couldn't sleep anymore.
I went to Patient First Health Center yesterday and the doctor told me I have an upper respitory infection. Now I know why I've been squeeking while I was speaking. I'm good though. My pillow has been taking great care of me. He bought me soup yesterday. He's so sweet.
Seeing how I am sick and the doctor told me not to do much but rest for the next 5 days it means I can't go look for a job. I've applied at a few places but no callbacks....yet. Hopefully if I do, they will let me have the days that I need to get better. If not, does anyone in Louisville know anyone hiring??
Thats about it in my life. Hope everyone is as good as I am.

For those of you who were wondering. I was jumping down off the stage in Knights hall and my foot got stuck. Since I couldn't randomly hoist myself back up, I fell. It made a thud. There was somewhere between 30-40 people that saw me do this.
The only thing that was hurt on me was my pride. I laughed at myself.

1. What was your favorite moment from NACA Nationals this year?
I don't know if I can pick one moment. There were so many good times. Dinner with Andrew from The Late Night Players, Mike Super, the crazy times with the clown nose...the list could go on.
2. If you could have 1 superpower for 1 day (24 hours) what would it be and what would you do with it?
I think it would be mind reading. Just to find out what people are really thinking.

It would be a him and his name would be Alan or Hercules.

An Astin Martin....Even though they get really shitty gas mileage and cost two arms and a leg and a half.

Hmmm, I don't know. I really don't know everyone that goes into the SAC, so how would I know exactly who to ban? Can I ban a type of person? If so, then I would ban the people who come and ask silly questions to which they should know the answers to. And anyone who tried to steal my equipment.

I think I am doomed to repeat my teenage years over and over again.
I went to the Eye doctor last Thursday to get my eyes checked (obviously) and not the actual optimitrist, but the other person that actually performs the preliminary things she asked me "when you graduate are you going to College. Seriously, we were sitting there talking about the fact that I was a junior and in about two weeks I'll be a senior. So then she asks, "are you going to college when you graduate high school?" (We were talking about my grade status because on my transcripts it said Freshman at Bellarmine University and the ladies at the front desk told me to change anything that was wrong, so I changed freshman to Junior at Bellarmine UNIVERSITY. Apparently she needs to get some reading glasses.
I take it as a compliment, it means I look young, and I had to laugh at it, it was quite funny.
Easter break was good, though kinda boring. I didn't do much.

These past few days I feel like I've been disappointing and upsetting people.

I had an interview this morning at 8:30. It went well, or at least I think it did. It would be so awesome if I get this internship (eventhough it is un paid). I really like the guy I'd be interning for and it would be a great opportuntity. So cross your fingers for me.
I also registered for a summer class. I still have to register for one more.
Not to much else is going on. Lots of projects and papers. Grr on the end of the semester and teachers making everything due. But yay to the fact that it is almost over.

School is going, eh, okay I guess. I have two tests tomorrow and I should probably be studying for those instead of doing this, but this is more interesting. I've been working on making my schedule for next semester and figure out which class(es) I want to take over summer.
I HAVE A TOWN HOUSE!!!! Yes, a town house. Two other girls and I signed a lease for a town house so I will be in Louisville over the summer. The house becomes OURS on April 15th and we are all sooooo excited. We have it for 12 months so this is happiness. It was originally $989 a month (split 3 ways), but the guy gave us a $180 deal and brought it down to $809 a month (again, split 3 ways). We told each other it was a deal we couldn't pass up, so we didn't. It is going to be awesome, and so pretty.
My pillow is well. His birthday is on Sunday and since it is over SPRING BREAK, I am taking him out tomorrow night for dinner. That is, of course his present.
Well I suppose I should go study now.....grrr...

Now, instead of it being a 2 hour plane trip it'll be a 2-2.5 hour drive. (trust me the driving choice is better)!

Friday night was our Homecoming Dance. I went and had mucho, mucho, mucho amounts of fun!!! I went with my pillow and he looked really nice all dressed up and with his spikey hair. We got there withOUT getting lost. (go us!) It was across the river in Indiana at this really cute place. It was the perfect place in size and design, not too big, yet not too small.
Last night was our Basketball Homecoming game. BU won! It was awesome. It was the first Bellarmine sporting event that I've attended in my 2.5 years here at school. It was fun. I met up with my Shanon and spent some time with her.
That is about all that is going on with my life. Just going to school and hanging out with my pillow.
I'm going to Boston next weekend (we leave at the butt-crack of dawn on Saturday morning and get back late on Tuesday night) for NACA for BAC. It should be awesome!!

My Pillow is sick. (boo on being sick). He has Strep Throat and I feel bad for him, and I feel like I can't do anything for him. Not that he would let me. He had a fever 0f 102.3 last night and would not let me take him to a hospital. I got it down to 100.9, but that is still to high. He went to the Immediate Care center this morning for them to tell him he has strep and give him a shot in da butt. (aww...) That would hurt. NO WAY I'd let them poke me with a needle in the butt.
I should own stock in Minute Maid OJ with how much I've bought for me in the past couple days and I've been going through it like it was going out of style, but this is how I prevent me from getting sick, and it's not like it is bad for me. So, I guess it is okay.
There is not much else to report.
I guess that is it.
